With the world racing against time to find a cure for coronavirus and the pandemic threatening human existence and global economy, many people, especially in Africa, have come up with homegrown remedy against it.
Madagascar is already using its own homegrown and even exporting same to Senegal. Here in Nigeria, we have people like Malam Idris Ibrahim Kalgo, a group of scientists from the University of Ibadan and a host of others who have claimed to have the cure but it is mum from our government and its agencies.
It is in the midst of this that Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Jawa from Yobe State came up with his own which he claims to be both preventive and curative of Covid-19, immune booster and detoxifier as well.
Dr Jawa is a Masters Degree holder in Alternative Medicine, from Wfas Institute, Beijing, China who has chalked in over 40 years experience in practical traditional medicine. He also holds a PhD in Holistic Medicine (African Traditional Medical Science) from the University of Kolkata, India.
He was the Executive Secretary of the Yobe State Traditional Medicine Board and upon his retirement from the services of the state government, Dr Jawa, who is also the National President of African Traditional Medicine practitioners, set up a school that awards up to a diploma in African and Chinese Traditional Medicines.
According to Dr Jawa, his formula is based on his study of the virus and symptoms exhibited by those infected. It is a traditional medicine preparation containing 4 Herbal seeds and plants commonly found in abundance in the state and it functions for balancing improving the functions of the lungs in patients as well as boost the immunity to fight back and kill off the virus.
M8meet learnt that the Yobe State Governor, Honourable Mai Mala Buni, the Minister, Federal Ministry of Health (FMH), the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on #Covid-19 are in receipt of Dr Jawa’s mixture and possibly something positive may soon be heard.
